Google Sundar Pichai was born to father Raghunatha Pichai and mother Lakshmi on June 10, 1972 in an ordinary family in Madurai district (Google CEO Sundar Pichai Birthday). His father Raghunatha Pichai was an electrical engineer at GEC. Mother Lakshmi is a stenographer. Growing up as a boy, Pichai grew up living in a small cramped home with his mother, father and brother. At an early age, Sundar Pichai showed an interest in technology and an extraordinary memory, especially for phone numbers.He did his 10th standard from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya School, Ashok Nagar, Chennai and +2 from 'Vanavaani' School, IIT Campus, Chennai. He then studied Metallurgical Engineering (B.Tech, 1993) at IIT Kharagpur, and after winning a silver medal at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, he was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Master of Engineering (MS 1995) degree in Metallurgical Sciences at Stanford University.
